ABSTRACT
In facing an environment changing,
company is obliged to improve the effectivity of management control system to
make sure harmony level of the end goal between individual and organization.
Hence, leader should be able to influence organization member in order individual
goal consistantly with organization it self. Besides high job motivation and
locus of control also influence goal achievement. Job satisfaction and job
performance are the end of goal organization. This study is conducted to prove
the connection between situational leadership style, job motivation, and locus
of control toward auditor’s job satisfaction and job performance.
This study used quantitative
research which stressed on hypothesis testing. Independent variable (X) used
which are situasional leadership style (X1), job motivation (X2), and locus of
control (X3), while dependent variable (Y) used which are job satisfaction (Y1)
and job performance (Y2). Data collecting method is used through survey with questionnaire
contain of question list answered by selected respondent and they are auditors of
several public accountant office in Surabaya. Data analysis technique to test
hypothesis is conducted using multiple and simple linear regression analysis.
Based on test, the conclusions are
situational leadership style, job motivation and locus of control
simultaneously effect on job satisfaction, situational leadership style and job
motivation partially have a significant influence to job satisfaction, in the
other hand, locus of control variable partially doesn’t have significant
influence to job satisfaction. Test result shows that situational leadership
style, job motivation and locus of control effect simultaneously to job
performance, situasional leadership style partially doesn’t have significant
effect to job performance, in the other hand job motivation and locus of
control partially effect to job performance. Test result shows conclusion that
job satisfaction have significant influence on job performance, and job
performance have significant influence on job satisfaction.
