ABSTRACT
This research intends to analyze
factors that affect the students’ intention in sing
internet as literature source or reference, that is
information quality factor, individual capability (computer self-efficacy and
knowledge search domain), and subjective norms. This research using TAM
(Technology Acceptance Model) as basic research model and combine this with
construct in Theory Planned Behavior (TPB) to complete the TAM. Data gained by disseminating
360 questionnaires overall the Faculties at Gadjah Mada University.. The data
analysis conducted under the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with AMOS Program Version
5.0.
The result of this research
shows that information quality positively and significantly affects the
students’ intention in using the internet as literature source with perceived usefulness
as mediation. Moreover, this research also shows that individual capability (computer
self-efficacy and knowledge search domain) positively and significantly affects
the student’s intention in using the internet as literature source with
perceived ease of use as mediation. Other finding is that subjective norms may
directly affect the student’s intention in using the internet as literature
source without the mediation of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use.
